Voice is often cited as a common source of dysphoria for people. We believe, passionately, that everyone should feel comfortable and confident with their own voice.
As a queer speech-language pathologist, we work together to create a vocal profile that aligns to your sense of self. We do not "prescribe" any single behavior or voice. Instead, we collaborate and come up with individualized goals that are specific to you and your identity. Goals may include things like: pitch, intonation and prosody, vocal quality, articulation, resonance, and social language. Additionally, we work together on vocal hygiene to ensure that your new vocal profile is healthy and stays protected.
Whether you identify as non-binary, female, male, gender-fluid, all the above, or none of the above, we can work together to find your voice.
